"as i've said before, high fashion low fat not only a fashion blog, but a fashion project blog :)
so a few months ago ( i think around february) me and my friend Clarisa discovered that a few of my friends are really good models. I mean really photogenic. Yes and then, an idea pops into my head.
so a few months ago ( i think around february) me and my friend Clarisa discovered that a few of my friends are really good models. I mean really photogenic. Yes and then, an idea pops into my head.
"why don't we get a photoshoot going?"
at that time it all sound perfect! three dresses, all hand sewn, and three models. The setting's already surveyed, the fabric's bought, and within three months the three dresses were done absolutely perfect.
and then, smart as i am, an idea once again pops into my head.
"why don't we make nine dresses for the shoot?"
yes, nine sounds incredible.
and impossible.
we scheduled the shoot for around the 23rd of June, and the idea came at around April. I was extremely challenged, battling assignments from my ridiculously amazing school, exams, homeworks, tests, you name it, and making the six dresses left for the photoshoot.
i don't know why we started calling it garden project; maybe it was because the original setting was in the garden of my friend's house ( the green scheme/morning shoot). well, of course, we made it work.
yes we had to tweak the schedule a bit, the shoot was re-scheduled from the 23rd of June to the 4th of July. and of course everything that can go wrong went wrong. but with the help of my friends we made it :)
It was a two day photoshoot, and it was an amazing experience! Sure we definitely can make some room for improvement, but i think we did a fantastic job. how did we do?? :)

garden project is a photoshoot with a concept of showcasing how fashion empowers women all over the world.
we can see the difference between the girls in the green dresses with the girls in the red dresses with the girls in the midnight blue dresses. In the green the girls look a bit more shy, afraid, timid, and so on, whereas in the red dresses, the girls look more brave and loves a challenge and more outgoing, intimidating, as if they are just these incredible women, of course, judging on the way they dress.
but in the midnight blue dresses, the girls look a bit more conservative, calm, and peaceful, as if they are more mature.
that's what me and my team tried to achieve. yes we will absolutely make room for improvement next time. :)
